The Essay I wrote a few weeks back for The Stinging Fly talked about how the multimedia revolution in culture was revivifying poetry in Ireland, and making it accessible, relevant, and interesting to far wider sections of the population than are generally likely to engage with the art in its page-only form. This is the kind of thing I was talking about – a piece of multimedia genius from King Mob. Worth pointing out again, as I did in the Essay, that this high-class fusion of poetic creativity in the mediums of speech, music, and video is, like much of what is worth paying attention to in Irish arts in recent years, a completely autonomous, self-funded creation emerging from outside – from well outside – official  structures. So please – if you like it, please share it and support the WILD ARTS. (Dave Lordan)
